Kare-Kare for Dinner (First Attempt)

I’ve had a chance to manage mom’s kitchen today and finally made way for this recipe. Kare Kare – a traditional Filipino ox tail and vegetable stew complimented with a thick savory peanut sauce.

This has been a favorite and been longing to making my own version of it. I didn't use ox tail though but just the  regular pork meat. Now here it is… finally!

Steamed white rice and a bit of sautéed shrimp paste (bagoong) are this recipe’s perfect matches so hmm… with that said I should be out here now to try it out myself. Looks like mom’s done setting the table so now it’s time to find out some verdict. ;)
